2-day format - Pistol Only

Our new gunfighter course is now split into an Intermediate pistol only course and an advanced pistol/carbine course.  The intermediate course is far from your standard shooting course with very little time spent on the square bay.  Instead,  we will be in the shoot house, in vehicles, on a bus, and other 360 degree ranges where we can do force-on-force and live fire.  This course is primarily focused on preparation for concealed carry.  Take your training to the next level, sign up today!

Prerequisite:  You must be able to safely handle a pistol, be familiar with the 4 safety rules  and be able to consistently adhere to them.  This course is designed to be able to push shooters of all skill levels.

Material Covered

• Hand-to-hand principles and techniques (armed and unarmed)
• 1-Man CQB/ clearing rooms, etc.
• Basic medical & care under fire
• Use of cover and concealment
• Non-standard shooting positions (under cars, from driver’s seat, etc.)
• Equipment setup
• Low-light pistol, lighting techniques, and CQB problems
• Scenarios in high-stress environment focused on problem solving
• UTM force-on-force

Gear List

Required:

• Pistol with concealable holster and magazine pouch (belt)
• (3+) Pistol mags or enough to hold 40+ rounds (for you 1911 guys out there)
• Eye protection, smoked for day, clear for night
• Gloves (padded knuckles/fingers recommended)
• Hearing protection *electronic is best, but please have normal ear plugs too
• Clothing for all weather, long sleeves, and some clothes you can get dirty in
• Bag to carry all your gear for the day
• Any tools or cleaning equipment you need to maintain your firearms and gear
• Note pad with pen and a sharpie
• Headlamp & handheld light *surefire style 60+ lumens w/ extra batteries
• Cup (groin protection)
• Sunscreen
• Minimum round count: 500 pistol
• Your “A” GAME!

Optional:

• Shooting mat
• Mouthpiece
• Knee and elbow pads
• Pistol light (make sure you have a holster for it)
• Hat with brim and beanie for night
• Thick top and bottom for being shot with UTM, not required, but recommended

Important information

If you choose to pay only the deposit at check out, you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance via email. Tuition, rentals and any other elected fees are due 5 weeks prior to the course.

Great time and effort is made to ensure we have enough professional trainers (4-1 student to trainer ratio) brought in from various locations around the country to give you the best learning opportunity available. Therefore, a deposit is required for all courses.

Deliberate Dynamics has the right to cancel any course up to 30 days prior to the course start date. Therefore, please avoid making any travel arrangements prior to 30 days from the course. In the event Deliberate Dynamics has to cancel the course the student will receive a full refund for the tuition or the option to transfer the tuition to another class.

If a cancellation by the student occurs up to three weeks prior to the training course, you will receive a credit towards another training.

If a cancellation by the student occurs within three weeks of training date, the deposit paid will be lost to accommodate arrangements Deliberate Dynamics’ has made to pay our professional trainers to travel to the training facility.
